Reed left Fort Bragg, North Carolina in mid-June, dropped off stuff at his new duty station at Fort Knox, Kentucky, then headed north. He's been busy since then.
One of his first visits was to Firemann at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center.
He loaded his four-wheeler in the back of his GMC truck and had a chance to show off his driving skills at McLean Bottoms. Friend, Derek Kline, looked on as Reed rode on two wheels for at least a hundred feet. Although I took it for a s-l-o-w spin around the campground it looked like a death trap to me.

Talking to Ed Shimmin at Firemann's auction sale. Ed, Barb, Lyndon, and Janet bought several items at the auction, keeping them in the Legreid family.
Mom came over for burgers and brats. She poses with four of her grandkids.
This photo does more justice to Jaylia and Jenna. Colt joined the cousins in our back yard.
All play and no work makes for a dull boy. Reed cut down a tree in the front yard and is shown here with a rented stump grinder. You may recall he cut down the willow tree that stood there last summer. As I write this, Reed is on the Missouri River with Jenna and Colt.
