Mere recently moved in with Carly, another law student at UND.  The apartment is a little farther from school but much nicer, she says.

Britney Spears performed at the Alerus Center at UND recently.  Although the act attracted 13,000 fans, the sponsors ended up losing $100,000 on the show.  Nevertheless, with the money spent by attendees, the city figured there was a $700,000 net gain for local businesses.
