The Enchanted Highway and More

Late this summer, Pam, Meredith, her friend Megan, and Som drove west to Medora for a little sightseeing.  En route, they drove south of Interstate 95 on "The Enchanted Highway." http://www.hettingercounty.org/tourism/highway.asp

  There were giant grasshoppers,

  Pheasants,

  more grasshoppers,

  the Tin Man Family,

  and good ol' Teddy Roosevelt.

  This week, Som took charge of the evening meal on Thursday.

  She made a meat and vegetable mixture inside a tortilla-shaped wrap composed of fried eggs.  Then she smothered it in a tomato-based, semi-spicy broth. Spaghetti filled out the menu.
