Before Reed left Fort Bragg for Germany, he had the good fortune to spend time with his cousin, Brent and his family.

Before Christmas, Andrea and Brent collaborated
with Reed on some gifts
for family members.
They took their turn on Brent's skill saw.
As a warm and fuzzy send-off, Reed's Battalion Commander, Lt. Col. Crawl, presented Reed with the Army Achievement Medal. He was promoted to Specialist, the equivalent of E-4, I'm told.
Now in Bamburg, Germany, Reed purchased new
[old] set of wheels, a 1988 BMW. He also got together recently
with his old friend, Gustavo, who is stationed a couple of hours down the road, near
Munich. Let the good times roll.
