The kindergarten kids attending Bismarck's YMCA chipped in to bring a little cheer and some food to soldiers stationed in Iraq.  It was the brainchild of Mary Vinje-Shenk, a teacher at the Y.  The children brought enough food from home to fill eight large boxes.  Then they went to work with crayons and paper.

Mary, Donna, and another teacher load boxes for transport to the troops.  When complimented on their neat outfits, Mary claimed it was Pajama Day.  Sure, sure.
