Thanksgiving was a bit of a bummer for me this year. I had some minor same-day surgery and was advised not to moving around much so I was home-bound while little sis' put on the dog--okay, the turkey--for family at her house.

Pam talks to Neil's dad, Gary Heinle. Gary's wife, Bernice, recently passed away. He still lives on the farm in Burt [a suburb of Mott].

Grandma pets Neil and Francie's dog, Callie . In the background is the new
dining room addition to the Heinle house.
Neil and brother-in-law, Pat, catch the Detroit-New England game.
Not sure who took this photo, but Meredith took all of the others. Mom is 88 and going strong. Except for the company, I didn't suffer much as I got some great leftovers.
We're looking forward to Christmas when Reed and Mollie will be home. Pam asked her students what activities we should plan to introduce Mollie to an honest-to-god North Dakota winter. They suggested shoveling. LOL.
