We celebrated Thanksgiving 2009 with family and friends.  Doesn't get much better than that.

As I looked out the front door at 1:00 p.m., who should I see but Angie Hoerauf bringing one of the three delicious pies [yes, I tasted each one].

Pam gave Mere and Angie aprons and put them to work.  Table setting was chore #1.

Nick Kjos gamely agreed to cut the big bird.  Did a nice job, too.

Dale's mother, Mabel, and my Mom joined us.  There was an abundance of food.

Angie served the pie.  Will that be plain pumpkin, pumpkin with walnuts [my favorite], or peach kuchen?

After the tummy-filling, the men retired to the family room where we watched the Packers thrash Detroit.  In the kitchen, the women ginned up their testerone levels in a game of Uno Attack!

Looking through some pics on my computer, I came across this shot taken at Thanksgiving ten years ago.

We are thankful for the good times we can share with those closest to us.
