
Looking to the southwest on the northern loop

Jack gets a panoramic view of the park.

Mama and baby on the east side of the park. I saw more buffalo on this visit than on any other to the park.

These mule deer did not seem spooked by our van nor even when I got out with my camera.

No trip would be complete without a shot of the elusive wabbit. I'm a sucker for bunny photos though they are not exactly an endangered species. Check out our back yard any summer.

Wild turkeys did not stick around long when they saw us.
That night the wind came up and the skies clouded over but no rain fell. The next morning, we were greeted by the camp "host," Bill, who told us he spied some young hoot owls not far from our camp site.

Again, Jack had to point them out to me. Because of the 10x zoom on my Panasonic, I could get up close and almost person with them.
