Reed and Mollie had already given Pam the good news before I got home [from work, not play]. But they called again just for my benefit. Seems they had ultrasound done in Louisville on September 9. Their new edition is expected in late January and IT'S A BOY! More importantly, both mom and baby are quite healthy.
And there is more good news. Reed was originally expecting deployment in early January for a second stint in that middle-eastern paradise of Afghanistan. However, it looks like his request for a temporary stay until the baby is born will be granted. He may not have to deploy until March. Not only does that allow Reed to be present when his son is born, but it will shorten the time he is away from Mollie. In the military, that is about as good as it gets.
The Pow-Wow is in Bismarck this weekend and that means everyone and his brother is holding a rummage sale. Pam will be checking out the baby clothes for sure.
Reed and Mollie recently returned to Mollie Malone's, the restaurant where Reed proposed.
