Family stuff

One afternoon in early October, I stopped at Firemann's house to visit.  Normally, on a nice day, you'll find him in the garage or in his kitchen.

On this particular day, he wasn't in the garage, in the kitchen or out back.  The garage door was open so I was fairly certain he was home--somewhere.  After some scouting, I found him on the east side of his house.

The epitome of Scandinavian work ethic, Firemann was spading the dirt around his shrubs, preparing to plant grass seed around them.  No rest for this man.

For 89 years old, he does exceedingly well, maintaining his own house and yard, albeit with some help.

Harold and Linda visited about that time.  This grainy photo was taken with my cell phone.

Pam doing a sudoku puzzle.  She's pretty good at them.

On the beach in Cancun, circa 1994, Reed has Mere buried d-e-e-p.
